STORY

A wedding day shaped for film

Set in Manziana, at Villa Clodia, the day carried a quiet, cinematic atmosphere that felt naturally suited to being captured in motion. Surrounded by the softness of the Italian landscape, the historic villa and its warm tones created a setting that didn’t ask to be overstated. Instead, it offered a sense of depth and texture that unfolded best through movement, through light shifting across surfaces, through moments that were meant to be experienced rather than frozen.

From the beginning, the focus was never on building a highly styled visual narrative through still images. Theresa and Roger approached their wedding with a different intention, one that leaned into feeling, rhythm, and presence. The day was shaped in a way that allowed moments to breathe and evolve naturally, giving space for the film to capture what could not be reduced to a single frame.

What remains here is a curated selection of still frames, fragments of a day that was always meant to be experienced in motion. The full story lives in the film, linked below, where everything comes together as it truly was felt.

The Setting — A Space That Held the Day

This selection of images focuses on the venue as the quiet foundation of the story. Rather than documenting every detail, the aim was to capture the atmosphere, the textures, light, and spatial rhythm that shaped the wedding day for Theresa and Roger.

From architectural lines to ambient stillness, these frames act as visual context for the film, preserving the feeling of arrival, anticipation, and presence. The venue becomes more than a backdrop; it becomes part of the narrative structure, framing the emotional flow of the day as it unfolded.

Theresa & Roger — Moments Between the Frames

This series centers on Theresa and Roger, captured in candid, unposed moments that reflect the emotional core of their wedding. The intention here was not to restage events, but to observe the natural language between them. glances, pauses, movement, and quiet connection.

These photographs complement the film by holding onto fragments of time that feel intimate and fleeting. Together, they reveal a relationship grounded in ease and familiarity, where presence mattered more than performance.

Some stories are captured through the lens of pure emotion and playful spontaneity..

Theresa and Roger’s wedding film captures not only the day itself, but the atmosphere that began building the day before. Moments from the pasta and tiramisu making workshop weave naturally into the narrative, adding a sense of warmth and anticipation as friends and family gathered, cooked, and shared time together before everything officially began.

From there, the film moves through the wedding day as a continuous flow rather than a sequence of highlights. It lingers on transitions, on quiet in-between moments, on the way light and movement shape the experience. Nothing feels rushed or overly directed. Instead, it allows the story to unfold with a natural rhythm, where emotion and presence take the lead.
